Handcrafted Coffee. Homemade Comfort.
Wired & Inspired
A Corner of Dunmore Worth Coming Back To.
Wired & Inspired Café is an artisan coffee house tucked into the corner of Electric Street and Jefferson Avenue in Dunmore, serving breakfast, lunch, homemade pastries, coffee, teas, and specialty drinks.
The café was founded by Warren and Pam Shotto, both Dunmore natives who spent years dreaming of opening a coffee shop of their own. Drawing on their background in design, the couple spent two years hand-renovating a dilapidated former grocery store, transforming it into the eclectic, English pub-inspired space it is today.
Before it was a café, the building was home to the Electra Superette — a beloved neighborhood grocery store where generations of local kids stopped in for penny candy. Over time, the building sat vacant and fell into disrepair, eventually being condemned as the once-vibrant corner withered away. Watching a piece of their childhood crumble was hard for the community — which made bringing it back to life all the more meaningful.
Today, Wired & Inspired Café exists to be a dedicated, welcoming gathering place — somewhere residents can step away from the noise of daily life, connect with neighbors, and enjoy good food and great coffee. That mission was recognized in 2026, when the café was voted Best Customer Service in Lackawanna County.
Founded August 19, 2025, Wired & Inspired Café carries forward the spirit of the corner it calls home — once again a place where the community gathers.

I had a very positive first time experience here. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas, the fireplace is a plus! I ordered an iced latte with a tiny bit of homemade sugar cookie syrup as I don’t like my coffee sweet, it was perfect! Thought the coffee was delicious. The owner was personable and the staff were friendly. I also had an apple cider muffin which I thought was delicious. I loved the decor and my overall experience. Would for sure suggest checking out.

I love seeing the local artist spotlights showcasing the creativity of our neighbors and showing up for poetry nights to listen to people share their inner world 💕 this place and their staff does a wonderful job at cultivating a sense of community and belonging.
I always leave with a happy tummy and a smile on my face

My mother, my daughter and I stopped into Wired & Inspired for the first time for breakfast and a tea. I grew up down the street and spent many a weekend night hanging out on the corner outside of the place. The owners transformed the place. The eclectic interior, the hip vibe, and the menu was perfect. The place was bustling with people and the service was prompt. We had the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant, and the Nutella crepes. I was looking forward to trying their Chai Latte since it’s a favorite of mine. However, they were out of it. They offered me an alternative. A London Fog. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it.
Next time I’m in town I’ll definitely stop by!
